I have an old Nikon D50 with sigma 500 lens but am considering buying a D3200 and celestron scope for bird digiscoping.
I understand the m setting point on your website. However I was previously shown a rig with a T2ring and a connector which allowed zooming.
Does your rig zoom OK and did you need anything other than a connecting ring?
Thanks for any advice? Geoff

Hi Barry.
I have purchased a Celestron Ultima Refractor 80 - 45 angled scope, and a Celestron Universal Digital Camera Adapter, to go with my (already owned) Panasonic Lumix TZ5 camera.
I am having a some problems with vignetting. Since I bought the scope I have found that the Lumix camera is not very suitable for digiscoping.
I am having my 65th birthday soon, so my wife is going to buy me a new camera.
I am think of a Canon Powershot S110, will this camera be suitable. If not what camera do you advise to go with the scope and adapter
Many Thanks.

I am trying to connect my canon s90 to my ultima80 scope using a universal digiscoping adaptor. It may seem a silly question but does the adaptor fit around the eyepiece of the scope? If so, won't the camera revolve when I focus the scope?

Hello Barry, interesting site and very good pic's, I am wanting to get into Digiscoping for birds and general wildlife, I have a Nikon D3100 and am thinking of buying the Celestron Ultima 20 - 60 x 80mm ED Spotting Scope, I am wondering what you are using now and what you would recommend if different from what I am thinking, is the direct connection of camera to scope with the T2 connector the best method.
Regards John

That's a pretty impressive portfolio, Barry. I've only looked at about one third of your images and I'm green with envy!
